Bio
Life is a journey filled with ups and downs. With having lived experience with both addictions and mental health, I bring a unique perspective to my therapeutic approach. I work collaboratively with clients to create a plan that best suits their needs.
I provide an empathetic, flexible, and collaborative approach, and it is an honour to walk alongside individuals on their journey, assisting them in achieving their goals. I provide a safe space where clients can share their stories and discuss their challenges in a confidential environment. I have supported clients and new parents to gain awareness, assisting them in learning new coping strategies while recognizing their unique triggers.
My approach is research-based, and I am continuously learning through both my education and hands-on work experience, to better support individuals through some of life’s hardest challenges. I incorporate a trauma-informed approach through Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Strengths-Based Approach, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing modalities, while actively listening and building a therapeutic rapport.
